Pricing Fox and Bidding Fox — what’s the difference#
Pricing Fox and Bidding Fox are two separate extensions built on top of Mergado that are easy to mix up, because both automate decisions on price comparison sites — but each answers a different question.
| Pricing Fox | Bidding Fox | |
|---|---|---|
| Solves | The product’s price itself | The bid (CPC) for ad position |
| Main question | “What price should I sell at?” | “How much should I bid for visibility?” |
| Where it works | Heureka, Zboží.cz, Google Merchant Center + output to your store | Heureka.cz, Heureka.sk, Zboží.cz |
Both extensions require Mergado and offer a free 30-day trial. It’s common to use both at once — configuring one doesn’t affect the other, since they’re separate extensions with their own rules and strategies.
On Heureka, Bidding Fox requires your store to hold the “Verified by Customers” certificate — bidding can’t start without it.
Bidding Fox Elements#
Under a similar name you’ll also find Bidding Fox Elements — unlike the two extensions above, this isn’t a standalone automation tool, but a shared data layer (price comparison statistics, weather forecasts, currency rates, and more) that rules in both Pricing Fox and Bidding Fox can use for more precise decisions.
