🧪 Usage examples#

Fox Data+ pays off most for repeated checks that someone would otherwise do by hand. A few typical scenarios:

Monitoring prices against the competition#

Create a query of products where your price is 10% or more higher than the cheapest offer on the card, and have an export of it sent to you every week. A product specialist then only handles the few products to reprice, instead of going through the whole assortment.

Spotting suspiciously cheap products#

A suspiciously low price often signals an error (for example a strap named “Apple Watch”) that people click on while your credit disappears. A query for products much cheaper than the competition finds them quickly. Guide: How to save money on incorrectly matched products.

Product matching check#

Track the number of matched and unmatched products over time, or products with suspiciously few stores on the card. Guide: How to track product matching on Heureka.

Products below the minimum CPC#

If you set your maximum cost per click too low, products never make it into bidding. Fox Data+ shows you how many products have a CPC below the category minimum. Guide: How to find products bidding below the minimum CPC.

Feed completeness and low credit#

Get notified when the feed suddenly loses products (a generation outage) or when your credit on a comparison site runs low. Guides: How to check product feed completeness, How to set up a low-credit alert.

Website content and SEO check#

If you scrape your website into Mergado, you can watch the number of pages, their traffic, HTTP status, and the length of the meta description or missing translations. The report points you to the pages that need fixing.
