How to Connect PPC Wolf and Sklik#

Connecting PPC Wolf to Sklik is an essential step for the extension to automatically send and update your ad campaigns directly in Sklik. The entire process uses an API key and takes just a few minutes.

1. Getting the API key in Sklik#

First, you need to obtain a unique API key directly from your account in the Sklik admin.

  1. Log in to your Sklik account.
  2. In the top right corner, click the arrow next to your email and click Settings.
  3. At the bottom of the page, find the Get API access section.
  4. Copy the API key shown there.
    • It is a long string of characters and numbers in the format 123...-your.email@domain.com

2. Entering the key in PPC Wolf#

Open the PPC Wolf extension interface in Mergado.

  1. In the main menu, go to the Ad Systems page.
  2. In the Sklik box, click Activate connection.
  3. In the API key field, paste the API key you copied from Sklik.
  4. Confirm by clicking Log in.

Important information about the connection#

  • Account support — PPC Wolf currently supports connecting regular accounts with campaigns, but does not support MCC accounts for Sklik.
  • Connection limit — Only one Sklik account can be connected to a single PPC Wolf instance (one activation in Mergado).
  • Removing the connection — If you want to remove the Sklik connection in the future, you must first delete all existing campaigns for Sklik in PPC Wolf.
  • Data security — PPC Wolf only stores your API key and information about campaigns it has created. It does not have access to other campaigns in Sklik or to performance statistics.
