Settings#

In the project settings, you define where Pricing Fox reads input data from, where it writes results to, and how the app should behave.

Price mapping#

Which feed element Pricing Fox reads as your input (own) price.
Where it writes the output (new) price.
Optionally a purchase price, if you want to use margin limits in rules.
Optionally a custom matching identifier (e.g. product code or EAN), if you don’t want to use the default matching.
Whether Pricing Fox works with prices including VAT.

Currency and statistics#

The project has a set currency — Pricing Fox supports CZK, EUR, USD, GBP, PLN, HUF, or a custom rate (also relevant for converting prices from Google Merchant Center in multi-currency projects). You choose the default statistics source based on what you use: Heureka, Google Analytics 4, Zboží.cz, or Shoptet — the choice can be overridden anytime directly in a specific report.

Thresholds and safeguards#

Pricing Fox can watch for when a calculated price is far enough outside expectations (“too cheap”/“too expensive”) that it deserves special attention, and can flag a significant price swing up or down.

Output multiplier#

Pricing Fox can apply an additional global coefficient to the calculated price, valid for the whole project, on top of the logic of individual rules. The default value 1 doesn’t change the price at all — useful in exceptional cases, for example when the output system expects prices in a different unit.

AI Analyst#

You adjust the Project Analyst’s behavior (see Overview) in the AI Settings section — how “chatty” it should be, or you can turn it off entirely.

Change history#

Pricing Fox keeps a history of changes to the project’s settings — useful especially for projects with multiple users, when you want to trace back who changed a key setting and when.

Before making any settings change, check whether the project is shared with other users. Changes like switching the input price or matching element can directly affect repricing for all products.

Notification channels (email, webhook, Mergado, in-app) aren’t configured here, but directly on the Alerts page.

FAQ#

Does Pricing Fox automatically recalculate prices when I change the currency? No. Changing the currency only affects how the symbol is displayed in the app — numbers aren’t recalculated.

Who can change the project settings? Any user with access to the project in Mergado can change the settings. If the project is managed by several people, we recommend coordinating before making a change — every change is recorded in the change history.
