What Is the Mergado Logbook Extension?#
Mergado Logbook is an extension that lets you easily record all important changes and events related to your projects and campaigns. You can clearly see who changed what and when — for example, who rewrote rules, why the bidding changed, or when you last made changes to a feed.
Logbook is your internal project diary. Every entry is dated, signed by a user, and stored directly within a specific project. This keeps all your notes in one place so you can easily refer back to them when evaluating performance or handing over work within a team.

How to Activate Mergado Logbook#
Activate the extension in Mergado Store: I want to activate → select the online store for which you want to enable the extension → Activate.
Working in Mergado Logbook#
After activation, Mergado Logbook shows you a list of all projects created within the online store for which you activated Logbook.
Creating a new entry
To create a new entry, click the New log button next to the selected project, adjust the date and time if needed, enter your note, and click Save. The user’s name is added to the entry automatically.
Viewing and editing entries
Entries are displayed chronologically. You can edit an existing entry by clicking the pencil icon. When an entry is edited, the author is automatically updated to the user who made the change. Click the trash icon to delete an entry.
CSV export
Download all entries for a project as a CSV file by clicking the CSV file icon.

Does an Entry Show Who Created It?#
Yes, the author’s name is added to every entry automatically based on the logged-in user. If someone edits an entry, the author is automatically updated to the user who made the edit.
