Collages#

In the Collages section, you can edit compositional layouts for creating product collages, which let you combine the main image with a product’s alternative images within a single ad image. Choosing and managing layouts correctly helps you present the product at its best and increase the click-through rate of your ads.

How to use it#

  • Layout library – offers a visual overview of grids that determine exactly how images are arranged in the template.

  • Add layout – lets you build your own, completely unique grid structure, tailored exactly to your needs.

  • Import layout – lets you quickly bring in collages you’ve already created in other projects into your current one.

  • Managing individual collages – you can edit each of the ready-made collages: adjust the dimensions of individual windows, download a collage, or delete it. If you want to remove collages from the layout library that you’re not currently using in any active template, click the Delete all unused button. To quickly reset and restore the complete original set of collages from Feed Image Editor, use the Recreate default layout set button.

FAQ#

What are the “Image” and “Alt 1, Alt 2…” fields for in layout previews?#

The Image field marks the position where the product’s main photo from your feed will be rendered. Fields labeled Alt represent slots for alternative images (e.g. different angles of the product, a material close-up, or other color variants) that the product has assigned in the feed.

How can I add a new collage layout to the project, or import an existing one?#

If the default options aren’t enough, click the Add layout button and build a grid to your own specifications. If you already have favorite layouts set up in another project, use the Import layout button to bring them over instantly.

What happens if I click “Recreate default layout set”?#

This feature fully restores the default settings for this section. If you accidentally deleted some of the original layouts, this button instantly brings the complete original set of collages from Feed Image Editor back into the library.
