What is the Mergado Notifications extension?#
Mergado Notifications is an extension that forwards alerts from Mergado directly to your communication platform. Its main purpose is to deliver the notifications you see under the bell icon in the Mergado admin or by email to the channels you use for team communication (Rocket.Chat or Slack). This means you don’t need to regularly visit the Mergado interface to find out whether something important has happened in your projects.
Currently, Mergado Notifications can only send notifications that come from other extensions.
The extension is ideal for:
- Agencies, online store owners, and freelance specialists who want instant awareness of changes and errors in their projects, even when they’re not logged in to the Mergado admin.
Pricing and billing#
Using the Mergado Notifications extension is completely free for Mergado Editor users and is available with no additional charges.
Use of the extension is tied to one user in Mergado and is free regardless of the number of connections created.
Since the extension is free, it has no trial period.

What notifications does Mergado Notifications send me?#
Currently, the extension only forwards notifications that come from other extensions in Mergado. There are plans to introduce a version that supports all notifications from Mergado Editor.
What do I need for the extension to work?#
A user account in Mergado Editor and an active webhook in Rocket.Chat or Slack, which you enter in the extension settings.
Can I send notifications to a private message instead of a shared channel?#
Yes. When setting up the connection, simply enter @username instead of #channelname.
How do I know my connection is set up correctly?#
On the Connections overview page, click the signal icon next to the connection in question.
Notifications aren’t arriving even though I have a connection set up. What should I do?#
If you chose a private channel in Rocket.Chat, check whether the intermediary user (set in the “Post as” field) has been added to it. Without this, notifications will not reach the private channel.
