What is the Mergado Marketplaces extension?#

Mergado Marketplaces is an extension within the Mergado ecosystem that lets you automatically list and manage thousands of products on the Allegro and Kaufland Global Marketplace online marketplaces. The extension pairs products with the marketplace catalog, lists unique ones, and ensures stock levels and prices are always up to date.

Thanks to regular synchronization, it only offers products that are actually in stock, preventing order cancellations and unhappy customers. Users of Shopify, WooCommerce, Shoptet Premium, Upgates, UNAS e-shop platforms and the POHODA accounting system can also conveniently manage orders directly in the admin panel of the system they use. The extension also makes it significantly easier to comply with GPSR regulatory requirements, keeping your offers visible at all times.

Pricing and billing#

Extension pricing:

  • 286 CZK per month with monthly billing,
  • 228.80 CZK per month with annual billing.

The price is set per e-shop (in Mergado) and is fixed, regardless of the number of products, orders, or marketplace connections.

Due to technical dependencies, the extension is billed in line with the billing frequency you’ve chosen in Mergado Editor. You can’t choose different billing frequencies for individual services.

Mergado Marketplaces has a 30-day free trial period.

Key terms for the Mergado Marketplaces extension#

  • Marketplace — An online platform that aggregates products from other shops and e-shops in one place (e.g. Allegro, Kaufland).

  • API connection — An API connection enables efficient communication between Mergado and the marketplace, meaning regular and frequent data synchronization. The main advantage of an API marketplace connection is the frequency of availability updates.

  • E-shop (in Mergado) — A grouping of one or more projects belonging to a single e-shop domain (e.g. My-shop.com).

  • Project — After uploading an input feed into Mergado Editor, a project is created. All data modifications are done within the project (e.g. using selections, rules, and automations).

  • Selection — A group of products meeting a specified condition (e.g. from all products, filtering those with a price above 500 CZK).

  • Product feed — A structured data file containing elements with product information (name, category, selling price, etc.).

  • Availability feed — A data file containing information about product stock availability. The Mergado Marketplaces extension accepts availability feeds in Heureka or Mall format or in the Mergado Marketplaces format.

  • Campaign — In Mergado Marketplaces, you create campaigns that load data from the product feed and create offers on the marketplace. The advantage is the ability to set up different campaign configurations — e.g. if you have different shipping rates for small and large products, you create two campaigns with different rate tables.

  • Default sales channel — The Allegro market where you registered your business account. If you later decide to sell on other markets, offers on the default sales channel must remain active. You can’t have offers inactive on the default sales channel while selling on another market. For example, if you registered your business account on allegro.cz, your default sales channel is Czech.

  • Element — A basic feed component carrying data (e.g. PRICE, PARAM, etc.).

  • Nested element — An element is nested if it’s located between the opening and closing tags of another element in the XML feed. The most common example is PARAM_NAME and PARAM_VAL elements nested within a PARAM element.

  • Element value — An element carries data, which we refer to as the element’s value (e.g. the value of element <PRICE>99</PRICE> is 99).

  • Product — Data in the input feed is divided into individual items containing data about that item. We call this item a product.

  • Offer — After uploading the product feed into Mergado Marketplaces, products become offers on the marketplace. On the marketplace, each product has one product card to which different sellers’ offers can be linked. Offers differ in price and purchase terms, but basic product information on the product card, such as EAN code, manufacturer, or brand, is identical.

  • Offer status — Mergado Marketplaces receives offer statuses from the marketplace every 15 minutes (e.g. active, incomplete, with error).

  • Marketplace catalog — A product catalog where each unique product has one product card to which sellers can link their offers.

  • Product card — A card in the marketplace catalog containing all required and fixed product parameters. Offers are linked to the product card based on the product identifier.

  • Product feed synchronization — Synchronization of all data between the product feed and marketplace. During automatic feed regeneration in Mergado Editor, only changed products are synchronized.

  • Regeneration — Regeneration updates data in the project including the output feed. It consists of three processes: import, rule application, and export.

  • Validation — The validation section contains error messages explaining any issues that occurred when uploading product data to the marketplace.

  • Sales documents — These are return policies, complaint policies, and shipping rates that must be filled in on Allegro’s admin before you can start selling.

What you need to launch Mergado Marketplaces#

Key features#

1. Automatic listing and product pairing#

Mergado Marketplaces allows you to:

Mergado Marketplaces currently supports listing a maximum of 200,000 products per campaign and 800,000 products per extension. For higher product counts, contact our customer support at mergado@mergado.com.

2. Fast stock synchronization#

Product availability is updated every 15 minutes. Sold-out items are automatically hidden from the listing and reactivated when restocked, so you always sell only what’s actually in stock.

For availability synchronization, you need to connect an availability feed in Heureka/Mall format or a product feed in Mergado Marketplaces format to Mergado Marketplaces.

3. Regular product data updates#

All product data is automatically updated after every feed regeneration in Mergado Editor.

4. Order synchronization with your e-shop platform#

In Mergado Marketplaces, you can activate order synchronization. Orders from Allegro and Kaufland are then automatically transferred to your e-shop platform every 5 minutes, letting you manage marketplace orders directly in your e-shop. Currently available for Shopify, WooCommerce, UNAS, Upgates and Shoptet Premium.

Order connections to e-shop platforms are created by entering the appropriate API key either in the Mergado Keychain extension (Shopify, UNAS) or directly in Mergado Marketplaces (WooCommerce, Shoptet Premium).

5. Order export in CSV or XML order feed#

You can easily transfer marketplace orders to the POHODA accounting system using a prepared XML order feed, or export orders to a CSV file and work with them as needed.

6. GPSR regulation compliance#

Mergado Marketplaces makes it easier to add required information about the manufacturer, responsible person, or safety instructions. This keeps your offers visible and prevents Allegro or Kaufland from hiding them.

Notifications and validation messages#

You can set up what types of notifications you want to receive directly in Mergado Marketplaces. The extension also displays validation messages that alert you to errors or inconsistencies in the submitted data.
