What are the individual connections in Mergado Keychain used for?#

1. Sklik API Fénix#

Create the Sklik API Fénix connection if you use extensions that need access to data from Zboží.cz/Sklik, i.e. data related to advertising on Seznam Nákupy.

Create this connection even if you don’t use any extensions but want to track advertising cost trends or clicks in easy-to-read charts on the Analytics page of your project.

The data collected is used exclusively for analytical and optimization purposes. Mergado does not gain access to personal customer data or individual order details.

Extensions that require a Keychain connection for Sklik data access#

  • Pricing Fox — For Pricing Fox to retrieve and process competitor data (price, stock availability, bidding position, gifts included with purchase, manufacturers, categories), and to get product performance statistics, you need to create a connection by adding Sklik API Fénix to Keychain.
  • Bidding Fox — For Bidding Fox to retrieve and process data about product card positions, product and shipping prices, competitor availability, and product performance statistics, you need to create a connection by adding Sklik API Fénix to Keychain.
  • Bidding Fox Elements — For Bidding Fox Elements to retrieve and process advertising performance statistics, you need to create a connection by adding Sklik API Fénix to Keychain.

How to create a connection in Keychain#

  1. In Keychain, find Sklik API Fénix in the Connections menu and click Create.
  2. Enter the Shop ID and API Fénix key, which you can obtain from your Sklik account. You can find the exact steps for generating the API Fénix key in the Sklik help pages.
  • To generate the API key, you must log in to Sklik directly with the account and password for which you want to generate the key. Logging in as an Account Administrator is not sufficient.
  1. Click Save to create the connection.

2. Heureka#

Create the Heureka connection if you use extensions that need access to Heureka data.

Create this connection even if you don’t use any extensions but want to track your advertising performance on Heureka on the Analytics tab. You’ll find statistics and charts for:

  • revenue,
  • advertising costs,
  • clicks,
  • conversions,
  • profit,
  • products with statistics,
  • conversion rate,
  • average CPC,
  • average CPO,
  • average PNO,
  • average conversion value,
  • average conversion profit.

Creating a Keychain connection also expands the Overview tab with statistics for:

  • product pairing rate,
  • number of online stores on a product card,
  • number of clicks,
  • orders,
  • revenue.

After creating a Keychain connection, Mergado will have access to selected statistical data from your Heureka account. Specifically:

Performance data#

  • number of clicks
  • click costs (CPC)
  • number of orders
  • revenue
  • profit and cost-to-revenue ratio (PNO)
  • number of products included in statistics
  • number of products without available statistical data

Account status information#

  • credit balance and status
  • information about active PPC mode
  • certification information (e.g. Verified by Customers)
  • whether the shop responds to customer inquiries
  • product XML feed availability
  • contact details listed in Heureka admin
  • shop logo
  • number of international account variants

Summary account statistics#

  • total costs
  • total number of clicks

The collected data is used exclusively for statistical purposes, product performance evaluation, and campaign optimization. Mergado does not gain access to personal customer data or individual order details.

Extensions that require a Keychain connection for Heureka data access#

  • Pricing Fox — For Pricing Fox to retrieve and process competitor data (price, stock availability, bidding position, gifts included with purchase, manufacturers, categories), you need to create a Keychain connection and enter the Heureka API key directly in the Pricing Fox extension.
  • Bidding Fox — For Bidding Fox to retrieve data from the Heureka Assortment Report and process advertising performance statistics and current product card information, you need to create a Keychain connection and enter the Heureka API key directly in the Bidding Fox extension.
  • Bidding Fox Elements — For Bidding Fox Elements to retrieve data from the Heureka Assortment Report and process advertising performance statistics, you need to create a Keychain connection and enter the Heureka API key directly in the Bidding Fox Elements extension.
  • Pricing Rank — For Pricing Rank to retrieve and process data from the Heureka Assortment Report, you need to create a Keychain connection.
  • Heureka Watchdog — For Heureka Watchdog to detect unpaired products, find products that are alone on cards, or discover other issues preventing advertising, you need to create a Keychain connection.
  • Pricing Monitor — For Pricing Monitor to track and analyze your product prices compared to competitors, you need to create a Keychain connection.
  • Credito — For Credito to check your credit balance, you need to create a Keychain connection.

How to create a connection in Keychain#

  1. In Keychain, find Heureka in the Connections menu and click Create.
  2. Enter the same login credentials (email and password) you use to log in to your Heureka account admin panel.
  • If you change your login credentials in your Heureka account, don’t forget to update them here as well — otherwise Keychain will report a connection error. Delete the connection and recreate it with the new credentials.
  1. Choose whether you want to create a connection for Czech or Slovak Heureka.
  2. Click Save to create the connection.

3. Google Analytics 4#

Create this connection if you use extensions that need access to Google Analytics 4 data.

Create this connection even if you don’t use any of the following extensions but want to track your advertising analyses and performance on the Analytics and Overview tabs of your projects. Specifically, Mergado will display collected data about:

  • number of visits/clicks,
  • number of orders,
  • total order value.

Extensions that require a Keychain connection for Google Analytics 4 data access#

How to create a connection in Keychain#

  1. In Keychain, find Google Analytics 4 in the Connections menu and click Create.
  2. Log in with your Google account and approve Mergado’s access to your data to create the connection.

4. Google Sheets#

This connection allows you to export the output feed from Mergado to Google Sheets on your Google Drive.

How to create a connection in Keychain#

  1. In Keychain, find Google Sheets in the Connections menu and click Create.
  2. Log in with your Google account and approve Mergado’s access to your data to create the connection.

If you need to import data from your Google Sheets into Mergado instead, you don’t need to create a Keychain connection — you just need to properly set up sheet sharing as CSV for the selected spreadsheet.

5. Shopify#

Create this connection if you run your online store on the Shopify platform and want to get your product data into a project in Mergado Editor.

You’ll also need this connection if you decide to use the Mergado Marketplaces extension. The connection allows Mergado Marketplaces to sync orders from online marketplaces and automatically transfer them to your online store every 5 minutes, where you can conveniently manage them alongside your regular online store orders.

To create a Keychain connection, you’ll need a Client ID and Client Secret. You can find how to generate these Shopify API credentials in the article New project - Generating Shopify API credentials.

How to create a connection in Keychain#

  1. In Keychain, find Shopify in the Connections menu and click Create.
  2. Fill in the Shopify Store URL for Admin API.
  • This is not the regular URL of your online store. It’s the Shopify store address for API communication. This address is in the format store-name.myshopify.com.
  • You can find the store-name in the Shopify admin URL. Example: admin.shopify.com/store/{store-name}/
  1. Fill in the Client ID.
  2. Fill in the Client Secret.
  3. Click Log in to create the connection.

6. UNAS#

Create this connection if you run your online store on the UNAS platform and want to get your product data into a project in Mergado Editor.

You’ll also need this connection if you decide to use the Mergado Marketplaces extension. The connection allows Mergado Marketplaces to sync orders from online marketplaces and automatically transfer them to your online store every 5 minutes, where you can conveniently manage them alongside your regular online store orders.

How to create a connection in Keychain#

  1. In Keychain, find UNAS in the Connections menu and click Create.
  2. Fill in the Shop name (ID).
  3. Fill in the API key.
  4. Click Save to create the connection.
