How to move a project to a different online store in Mergado?#

Do you manage multiple online stores in Mergado and accidentally created a project under the wrong online store? No problem! If you have Owner or Write permissions for both the original and the target online store, you can easily move the project to the correct online store yourself.

ℹ️ When moving projects, keep in mind that according to the Terms of Use, it is not allowed to have multiple different online stores within a single online store. So if you have two online stores, each on its own domain, you also need to create two online stores in Mergado, under which you create the corresponding projects for individual advertising platforms.

How to move a project to a different online store#

1. On the User Details page in your account, click the online store containing the project you want to move.
2. For the project you want to move, click the gear icon on the right, which will take you to the General Project Settings page.
3. Scroll to the Move project to a different online store section and click Move project.
4. In the Target online store field, select the online store you want to move the project to.
5. Click Move.
6. The project will be moved to the new online store along with its entire change history and settings.

How to move a project to an online store I don’t manage#

Do you need to move a project to an online store for which you only have Read permissions or no connection to it in Mergado? In that case, contact our technical support at mergado@mergado.com and we will move the projects for you. However, we will need email confirmation from the Owner of the target online store confirming that your project can indeed be moved under their online store.

No, according to the Terms of Use, it is not allowed to have multiple different online stores within a single online store. If you have multiple online stores, each must have its own online store in Mergado as well. Under each online store, you then create the corresponding projects for that store.
