How to disable and enable a project in Mergado?#
You have created a project in your online store for a specialized advertising platform (such as Favi or Biano), but right now you don’t have time to fully manage it? The project would just be losing you money at the moment, but you know that you want to get it going again in the future?
You sell seasonal products (such as skis or Christmas trees) that only make sense to advertise during the season, and outside of it you want to keep the projects with these products inactive?
You want to optimize your budget and have decided to pause a certain project for a while to reduce advertising costs?
Or you simply forgot to pay your Mergado invoice on time and want to reactivate projects that were disabled as a result?
None of this requires deleting or creating entirely new projects. If you have Owner or Write permissions for the online store the project belongs to, you can simply disable or enable the selected project.
Whenever you want to temporarily disable or re-enable a certain project, contact our support at mergado@mergado.com.
ℹ️ If you have paid Mergado extensions enabled for the projects you wish to temporarily disable, these extensions will be automatically disabled along with the project. However, if you have paid extensions enabled at the online store or user level, we recommend disabling them for the duration of the project’s downtime. Some extensions can work even with an inactive export, which means they could still be billed to you.
