How to access project history in Mergado?#
Something in your project isn’t working the way it should and you don’t know where the error occurred? Are you analyzing your advertising and want to understand what caused certain fluctuations? Multiple users manage your online store and you need to find out who set up certain rules and when? Do you want to schedule feed regeneration based on when the advertising platform downloads the project, so your data is always as up-to-date as possible?
All important information about events and changes in a specific project’s feed can be found on the History page. This makes it easy to identify where an error occurred, or you can use the information for analysis and further work on the project.
You can filter the information you are looking for based on event type (e.g. product import, rule application, download, extension activation, queries, and more), date, or the user who made the change. Each event can be expanded by clicking the arrow on the right to reveal additional details.
The entire project History can be downloaded as a CSV file, which you can use for analysis outside of Mergado.
What information can I find in the project History?#
You will find out when the project was created, when it was disabled or re-enabled, when rules were applied, who created them, when the feed was regenerated, or when products were imported or exported. You will see when another person or advertising platform downloaded your data, and you will also find the downloader’s IP address or the so-called UserAgent, along with much more.
What information is NOT in the project History?#
The project History does not store information about imported values. You will not be able to find out when and what values were imported into specific elements.
How to view project history?#
- On the **User Details page in your account, click the online store containing the project whose history you want to view.
- Click the selected project.
- In the left panel, click the History tab.
- Here you can view the complete history of events and changes in the project.
- As needed, you can filter the history by event type, date, or the user who made the changes.
